1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp table salt
1/4 cup butter (1/2 a stick), softened
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 large egg whites
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Beat butter and brown sugar with a mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add granulated sugar, beating well.
- Add cocoa and egg whites.
- Gradually add flour mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Lightly spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- Drop by one-inch rounded teaspoonfuls
- Bake on 350 for 8 minutes.
- Cool for 2 minutes, then remove cookies and place on wax paper to cook completely.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar for a nice touch.
